Festive Al-Futtaim is a visionary mixed-use commercial development conceived as a dynamic urban destination that brings together architecture, master planning, and placemaking at a metropolitan scale. Located in Cairo, Egypt, the project spans 13.5 acres with a built-up area of approximately 5,96,100 sq. ft., envisioned to create a vibrant environment that seamlessly integrates retail, leisure, and public experiences.
Developed in collaboration with X-Architects and Al-Futtaim, the project was designed through a comprehensive approach encompassing master planning and architecture. The planning emphasizes connectivity, walkability, and the creation of engaging public realms that encourage interaction and foster a strong sense of place. The architectural language reflects a contemporary expression, balancing functionality with identity while creating an urban experience that responds to the cultural and social fabric of its context.
Though unbuilt, Festive Al-Futtaim represents a forward-looking vision for mixed-use development—demonstrating how thoughtful planning and architecture can shape vibrant destinations that support commerce, community, and experiential urban living. Through its integrated design approach, the project sought to establish a landmark environment that reimagines the relationship between people, place, and city life.
