Pernod Ricard – Aurora Distillery is a conceptual industrial and hospitality destination envisioned as a contemporary interpretation of the distillery experience, where production, architecture, and landscape come together to create a distinctive sense of place. Located in Nagpur, Maharashtra, the proposal spans 24 acres with a built-up area of approximately 1,000,000 sq. ft., conceived as an integrated campus that celebrates craftsmanship, culture, and brand identity.
Developed as a concept pitch for Pernod Ricard, the project explored a holistic approach encompassing master planning and architecture. The planning framework sought to create a seamless relationship between industrial functions, visitor experiences, and landscaped environments, transforming the distillery into more than a manufacturing facility. Public realms, experiential spaces, and carefully orchestrated circulation strategies were envisioned to create a destination that reflects the heritage and aspirations of the brand.
Though unbuilt, Aurora Distillery represents a forward-looking vision for industrial architecture—where production environments are reimagined as immersive experiences that foster engagement, storytelling, and a strong connection to place. Conceived as a landmark destination, the project demonstrates how architecture and master planning can elevate industrial infrastructure into an iconic and memorable environment.
